Episode 26: Gratitude in the Garden | A Prayer of Thanksgiving

Recently, I was spending time in the garden, simply noticing the beauty and life all around me. The birds, the trees, the flowers, the smallest creatures, and the many ways God provides for every part of His creation.

The longer I stood there, the more overwhelmed I became. I found myself in tears, filled with awe and a deep sense of gratitude.

I wasn’t asking God for anything. I was simply witnessing His faithfulness.

There was something deeply moving about realizing how much care goes into sustaining the life around us. Things we often walk past without a second thought. And there I was, reminded that the same God who cares for the birds, nourishes the earth, and sustains all living things is also caring for me.

I needed that reminder.

Sometimes we become so occupied with life’s responsibilities, uncertainties, and unanswered prayers that we overlook the countless ways God is already showing up for us.

That day, I didn’t want to rush past what I was feeling. I wanted to acknowledge it, give thanks, and share the prayer that rose from my heart.

This episode is that prayer.

A simple, heartfelt expression of gratitude to a faithful God who continues to care for all He has created, including you and me.

My hope is that as you listen, you will find your own reasons to pause, look around, and recognize the many ways God has been caring for you, even in the smallest details of your life.

“Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow.” Matthew 6:28 (KJV)
